SO sweeties, I was getting a bit bored of doing my uni work, so decided to play around taking photos and editing them on Photoshop. This is what happens when you have too much time on your hands, Lipstick, and Barbie cake decorations, hehe:

I decided to use the last one as my blog picture, I love it!

Vintage style high waist shorts from New Look for £19.99
a big trend for Spring Summer 2011, but I'm lovin' studs at the moment, so decided to add a bit of my own bliiing. I bought the studs from eBay for a bargain £1.30 for 50 studs. Cannee complain with that!

Really quick to do (literally under 10 minutes), and an easy way to refresh an old item!

So I found the cutest store this weekend, just on my own doorstep (well, close enough!). It's called 'Love From Hetty & Dave' and is in Boscombe/Bournemouth, okay so the area is pretty run down and creepy, but they have some lovely vintage stores and lots of charity shops for bargain hunting!
The layout of the store is to die for, and is literally how I want my home to be when I eventually have my own one... It has lots of cute bits that are all hand crafted, such as pillows, tea cosies and badges, ooo it makes you go all squiggly.

I couldn't resist buying this cute leopard print moustache pin, and the googly eyes are just for effect, but it worked. £5, bargain!

Cute pins, Love Rocks and Love Sucks depending what mood your in, hehe. £24 each!
And also cute love heart rosette brooches for £5, go see go see!

So recently I've become a little obsessed with Models Own nail varnish, they have a stunning rage of colours that are just irresistible, from matte, glittery, shiny & always smooth. At £5 they are so worth the buy.

Colours: 3 in 1 base coat, Utopia, Beth's Blue, Jade Stone, Top Turquoise, Blue Moon,
Pink Blush, Nude Beige, Vintage Pink, Pink Fizz, Champagne, Proper Copper, and 2 nail art pens black & white.
Top left: Nude Beige, Champagne and then Beth's Blue.

These colours seem to be a favourite of mine and the ones that I use most often! I still need to test a lot of the other colours out but at the moment I'm happy taking it slow, it's more fun that way :p

Warehouse Blog Feature...

1. Okay try and pose, 2. Wtf? Didn't realise it would flash again, 3. Laughing, 4. Still laughing....

My claim to fame is that I am on the LOOK website with my photograph with my sister for the New Look campaign. Hah love it!

OMG! So thanks to Warehouse on facebook I managed to win 2 tickets for The LOOK show 2011, and it was a-mazing. A fab day of champagne, 'mingling' with celebs (really just getting close), pap thinking my sister and I were actually important and a lovely goodie bag to top it all off! A great way to get my weekend started indeed...

Outfit
Biker Jacket & Scarf: Newlook
Peter Pan Dress: Topshop
Stud Bag: Matalan
Models own nail varnish: Top Turquoise
The catwalk was quick but exciting with lots of 70's vibes, prints, blouses and colour blocking. There were some lovely pieces that I would buy if I had unlimited funds and here are some of my favourite looks from the show:

Other stores that showed off their Spring Summer looks were Dorothy Perkins, Uniqlo, Marks & Spencers and Monsoon. Gorgeous! And such great designs from our everyday high-street stores, best get shopping! I need some leather shorts and leopard print shoes in my life, so these will be my next purchase for sure.... hello eBay!
