GLITTER IN THE AIR.

The first time I saw this polish I fell in love, so went on a mission to try and find a store that stocked it! Unfortunately this seemed like mission impossible, after finding it only really being stocked in the USA (and costing a fortune for shipping & handling) I decided to give up on the idea. But after recently posting about other Deborah Lippman nail varnishes, I was on the hunt again. I finally  came across the exact one on eBay so couldn't resist purchasing, (although it was about £12, which to me is expensive for a nail polish) It's totally worth it! I have not come across any other glitter polish as stunning as this before. I have used a light blue base colour first, as I found without this it comes out very light and pearly (which is fine if this is what you like/want but I prefer a bit of depth and vibrancy to my nails). What do you think?x
CHARITYSHOP.
Here are a few of my bargains that I've got recently charity shopping. I must admit you do have to be in the mood for a good rummage and it's also useful to have an eye for a particular pattern or fabric you like or you've seen elsewhere so you know the type of thing you are looking for. It can be quite overwhelming otherwise. I know I like sheer fabric, chunky knits and geometric/retro patterns, as you can see from my collection of treats. All of the items are under £7 which is just amazing considering how expensive these items would be on the high-street or in a 'vintage' shop today. The shoes were a particular favourite of mine, at £3 and being the right size make them even more awesome, they are also super comfortable which makes them a great buy. What's your best buy from a charity shop?x

Some new things that have excited me recently; My 'J' bag that I won from Alphabet bags, Leopard print blouse from New Look £16.99, 3x pairs of sunglasses from Primark 50p each, Striped cardigan from H&M £10 sale, 2 pairs of brogues from River Island both £12 from the sale, and my gorgeous upside down cross vests one with leopard print & the other with a black snakeskin like fabric, £10 each from thisiswhatido! Bargains!x

DEBORAH LIPPMANN.

Happy Birthday ~ a party in the bottle (glitter)
Candy Shop ~ bubblegum pink (glitter)
Forget You ~ party all night (glitter)

I got this 'Get this party started' nail varnish set by Deborah Lippmann from my Dad after graduating (which seems like years ago now), but was only a couple of months ago really! I haven't yet posted about the polishes, as I have only just tested them out. At the moment I am wearing 'Forget you', which is a black based polish with multi-coloured and various sized glitter pieces within it. It's gorgeous, and perfect for a night out or a cool casual every-day look. I will need to post pictures when I use the other colours, but from testing this one out, I know I am very happy with the outcome. The quality is amazing and it's a great, easy & cheap way to spruce up your nails! One annoying thing about these nail varnishes is that they take AGES to try and take off. The glitter pieces seem to stay glued to your finger nails, so be prepared for a bit of a mission. On the other hand this is probably a good sign, as it means that the varnish must stay on pretty well, right? There are some stunning colours from this brand, and I've just ordered another one to test out.
Do you girls own any? What do you think?x

ALPHABETBAGS

Oh my, last week I won a competition on twitter from Alphabetbags after retweeting one of their updates. I was so surprised to win, as I just RT as soon as I saw the status update and didn't really think anything of it. Later that day I received a message saying that I was one of the goody bag winners and could I please forward my details to them. I was ecstatic! I've wanted the bag and purse for aaaages, but never got round to purchasing them. So for my goody bag I got to choose a wash bag, purse and tote bag of any design I wanted. But of course, I couldn't resist getting 'J's' for all of them. I got my parcel through a day or two ago and I am SO happy with the products, the packaging was lovely too! They are great quality and look super cool. I've already kitted out my washbag with all my make up, used my tote bag but yet to put any dollar in my purse (when I have some, this will be done!).
If you're not familiar with the brand, then you need to be!x
